Danessa Myricks Beauty Oil Product Review – From our Editor’s Desk
I was skeptical about the effectiveness of this product because the ingredients were not familiar to me but being an optimistic human, inspired by the packaging, and totally crazy about shopping for beauty products and anything good I bought the product. I didn’t mention that it was required of me to write a review. It wasn’t until it was delivered that I saw that most of the ingredient on the list was just essential oils and fragrance – (almond oil, walnut oil, etc) and they weren’t strange to me. I quickly got excited about using it! it smells so good when I opened it and promised so much skincare and I just knew I will be waking up in a couple of next mornings trying it out on my face. By the way, my skin is very dry and flaky. I used this facial oil as a preventative measure, and it worked great. My skin feels smooth and moisturized now, which is fantastic because I have dry skin. After using this product for 2 weeks, I see it as a long-term solution. My skin is good in the morning but becomes dry again by noon. Nonetheless, I adore it, and it makes my complexion look lovely and radiant.
Before now, I have tried many different face oils and this one quickly became my favorite. The fact that the liquid is not too tick. It leaves a nice glow and not the oily feeling that some others have left. And the scent – mild but nice, I love it just the way it is!
I love Honest Company products; Danessa Myricks Beauty Oil has gotten my trust on this one; it is what they say it is, with nothing hidden. I have used some of their products – which are good, this beauty oil is no different. I was anticipating trying it out, and it did not disappoint. I’m generally hesitant to try new things because I have sensitive skin, but I really couldn’t wait for this. The scent is delicious, and the oil left my skin smooth and free of an oily sheen. Although the price is a little high for what I can usually afford, it’s a wonderful thing to treat oneself to. We all need to pamper ourselves from time to time.
I use it every night before going to sleep. It has a nice, mild scent that isn’t overpowering or unpleasant. It absorbs readily into your skin and leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated in the morning. My skin looks wonderful after many months of usage! That little bottle will last you a long time! I love this tiny gold container! (I have combo skin: oily T-zone, normal everywhere else if that helps!)
